Sat. Nov. 9: Depart USA
Depart for this exciting adventure from New York JFK International Airport om Kenya Airways
flight KQ003, departing at 1:45pm. Meals and overnight on board your international flight.
Day 1
Sun. Nov. 10: Nairobi- Lake Naivasha
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 11:15am, meet your guide after
completing arrival formalities and after a brief safari briefing, commence your journey to Lake
Naivasha. After about 1.5 hours, we shall have a brief stop at the famous Great Rift Valley
Lookout, with stunning views of this geological formation that has created the most gorgeous
landscape. From here, proceed with your journey to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for a late
lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge/ Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge. After a short afternoon break
as you get acquainted with the serene surroundings of the resort, depart to Lake Naivasha
Crescent Island for an excursion and boat ride. We will set off on an easy trek through one of
lake Naivasha’s ecological gems - Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. A quick boat ride takes us to
the island, shaped like a crescent. Here you will experience extraordinary encounters with
Maasai giraffes grazing on acacia canopies, zebras meandering in the meadows and Thomson
gazelles rustling through savannah grass. The perfect place for reflection on what is at stake on
our changing planet. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. (L,D)

Day 2
Mon. Nov. 11: Day Trip to Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. This full day excursion to Nakuru gives
you the opportunity to observe the world-renowned flamingos and to search for other wildlife
such as buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes and baboons. Lake Nakuru is world famous as a sanctuary for
both black and white rhino. Enjoy your picnic lunch while visiting the park. Drive back to Lake
Naivasha for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 3
Tues. Nov. 12: Lake Naivasha- Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge for a leisurely
lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3:30pm allowing viewing of the amazing wildlife in
the reserve. Return by 6.30pm for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 4
Wed. Nov. 13: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve
We’ll be up early to view the park’s abundant wildlife, said to be the densest of any park in the
region. This will be a day of unlimited game drives over the golden fields and past distinctive
acacia trees adorning these plains. Be on the lookout for Africa’s Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo,
elephant and rhino. The birdlife is also abundant. Adding more richness to your experience. you
will visit one of the local Maasai villages. There, you’ll meet the Maasai and see their lifestyle up
close. Another optional event is an early morning hot air balloon ride over the reserve. Take in
the park below coming to life as the fields light up and the wildlife begin a new day on the
savannah. A magnificent experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 5
Thurs. Nov. 14: Masai Mara- Nairob
After breakfast you will depart the lodge and transfer to the Maasai Mara Airstrip for your
return flight to Nairobi. On arrival to the Wilson Airfield in Nairobi, you will be met by our tour
representative who will transfer you to The Hatton’s Lounge for lunch. Later proceed on an
excursion to the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. Later this evening dinner at the
Safari Park is arranged with entertainments by the Safari Cats. Overnight in Nairobi. (B,L,D)

Set in the serene suburb of Nairobi, the Karen Blixen Museum not only provides the most
comprehensive insight, but also offers a fantastic space for personal reflection in the natural
trails, against the backdrop of Karen’s beloved Ngong Hills
➢ Giraffe Centre
It was established in order to protect the vulnerable giraffe within east Africa region. You will
have the opportunity to feed the giraffe as you get to know the intriguing facts about this
species.
Day 6
Fri. Nov. 15: Nairobi, Farewell Dinner, Depart
Enjoy the day at leisure, with optional shopping or panoramic tour of the city. Lunch at the
hotel (on your own). In the evening, proceed to the Carnivore for a farewell dinner. After dinner
transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA. Depart on flight KB002 at 11:35pm.

Sat. Nov. 16: Arrival Home
- Arrive at New York’s JFK airport at 6:35am. Farewell to Africa…until your next visit!!

Tour Price Inclusions:_Economy-class flights from/to New York JFK, all transfers and transportation in a modern,
clean, 4X4 safari vehicles, all hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily, full board at lodges, all touring and
entrance fees as per the itinerary, the service of a full-time, licensed and experienced, English-speaking tour
guide/manager, all gratuities to guide.
Tour Price Exclusions: _Drinks with dinners other than water (other drinks available on site at additional cost),
lunches and other meals not mentioned in the itinerary, personal expenses such as laundry service and telephone
calls, travel insurance, any items not included in “Tour Price Inclusions”.
1. PAYMENT: Payment for the tour must be made directly by the passenger or by the travel advisor who is
the passenger's agent for the collection and remittance of tour payments. No other person is authorized to
request, receive or collect payments. NEVERTHELESS, VERED TOURS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE
ONLY FOR GOOD FUNDS PAID TO AND RECEIVED BY VERED TOURS. A deposit of $400 per
person is required at the time of booking. A second payment of $1,000 will be due by May 31, 2024.
Balance of tour price must be received no later than September 10, 2024 to confirm your reservations. Full
payment received after September 10, 2024 is subject to a $95 late fee. Prices indicated are for payment by
cash, check or credit card.
2. CANCELLATION CHARGES: No cancellation charges will be assessed prior to August 9, 2024, except
for a $75 administrative fee. Cancelations made after August 9, 2024 will be assessed a $1,400 penalty
which will cover the cancellation fees charged by the airlines, hotels or other service providers.
3. INSURANCE: Travel insurance is recommended and must be purchased prior to departure.
4. REFUNDS: All claims for refunds must be made before departure in writing to the tour operator. On or
after day of departure, no refunds will be made for services not used.
5. RESPONSIBILITY: VERED TOURS agrees to arrange for the tour outlined in this contract which
represents the agreement between the requesting travel agent or tour leader/organizer and VERED TOURS.
No changes or deviations are effective unless authorized by an officer of VERED TOURS. No other person
is authorized to adjust, modify cancel or change this program or to make any representation or warranty
concerning this tour. Except for willful negligence, VERED TOURS assumes no responsibility for any
injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays, schedule changes, irregularity or incidental damages resulting
from circumstances beyond the control of VERED TOURS or by any person or reason, including but not
limited to default or omission by any private or commercial carrier or third party providing services or
facilities connected with this tour or any part thereof. VERED TOURS assumes no responsibility for acts
or omission on the part of the Tour Leader. The airlines or steamship lines are not to be held responsible for
any act or omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board plane, ship or conveyance.
The passenger contracts in use by the airline or steamship lines or other lines and passenger or purchaser of
this tour and/or passage, when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and/or steamship
line and the purchaser and/or passenger, and VERED TOURS assumes no liability or any responsibility in
connection therewith.
